I was saddened to see the name of my old friend David Tyree among those listed in memory.

David and I were the closest of friends from kindergarten to about the 8th grade.  Our paths divereged at this point in our lives, but I will always have fond memories of our years growing up together.

Dave Tyree was one of my dear friends from South Junior through BHS.  He was a talented artist, a warm and genuine friend.  One a happy memory I have is when he used his artistic skills to exactly mimic my mother signature so I could leave school early!  I am so sad to learn of his passing.

The list is tough to read but I never expceted to see Dave here.  Very sad but good memories of his affability and talent.

Dave and I were together from 1966 until 1980, but stayed in touch until his death in 2016. He remained one of the funniest, smartest and  most creative persons I have ever known. He taught me to appreciate and love art and our European travels were enhanced by his knowledge. I had the honor of writing his eulogy and wrote in depth about our high school, college then early work and travel years together. Although Dave did not stay in touch with his Braintree friends, he often called me to ask about contacts I had seen throughout the years, so he knew about your lives. Dave’s death has left a large hole in my heart.
